Avani Bakaya
Avani Bakaya, born in 1995, is an emerging contemporary artist who completed her bachelor's in fine arts from the College of Art, Delhi, graduating with distinction and receiving first prize in her final year. Her solo exhibition in 2021, supported by the Raza Foundation to mark the centenary of S. H. Raza, remains a key milestone in her career. She has received notable recognition, including the Curators Art Grant (2023), and her work has featured in several respected national exhibitions and galleries. Avani currently lives and works in Delhi, where she continues to develop her artistic practice under the mentorship of Rameshwar Broota.
