Ishrath Humairah

Ishrath Humairah is a self-taught Indian artist from Hyderabad, whose artistic practice has evolved organically without formal academic training and has been shaped by a lifelong engagement with painting. She primarily works in abstraction, creating deeply textured oil paintings inspired by nature, particularly landscapes, forests, rocks, and trees; using a traditional, layered technique that builds rich surfaces and complex hues. Her art is recognised as an ongoing, intimate visual journey that reflects her emotional, spiritual, and sensory experiences of the natural world. Ishrath currently lives and works in Hyderabad, where nature, introspection, and spirituality continue to guide her evolving artistic language.
