Antarang  is pleased to introduces Spotlight series, an initiative dedicated to bringing emerging Indian talent right to the club area. The inaugural edit spotlights the Artist   Sripriya Mozumdar, a self-taught Indian artist, known for her slow, handcrafted realism. Her work blends European techniques with Indian cultural symbolism, drawing inspiration from masters such as Raja Ravi Varma, Willem Heda, and Ralph Goings. Each of her oil paintings is built through multiple layered stages, often taking over 200 hours. Sripriya's still-life paintings elevate everyday Indian objects, revealing their deeper cultural and emotional significance. Through these carefully chosen elements, she chronicles contemporary Indian life and transforms the commonplace into narratives of identity and meaning.
