Antarang Gallery, founded by Sania G Vohra, is delighted to announce the inaugural edition of Resonance as their flagship annual exhibition in Gurugram. The exhibition will begin with a vernissage at the Ballroom at The Camellias on 9 August.
August 5, 2026

The exhibition features works by Modern and Contemporary South Asian artists Akkitham Narayanan, Anupam Sud, Bhuri Bai, F.N. Souza, K.H. Ara, Krishen Khanna, Manu Parekh, M.F. Husain, Paramjit Singh, Paresh Maity, Seema Kohli, S.H. Raza, Shobha Broota, Sunil Das, T. Vaikuntam and Zarina (Hashmi). The exhibition will be publicly available to view from 13 August to 30 September 2026 at their gallery space at The Camellias.

Resonance, brings together a considered curation of works by Modern and Contemporary South Asian artists, tracing the continuities that connect artistic practices across generations. Rather than following a chronological narrative, the exhibition foregrounds the relationships that emerge between significant works and artistic voices across time. The annual flagship exhibition alludes to the dialogue between artists, many who were contemporaries, and the viewers. The works are organized in four sections and touch upon topics like nature, urbanity, portrayal and sacred. Antarang Art Gallery hopes this annual exhibition will reflect their long term commitment to scholarship, connoisseurship, and cultural exchange in the Gurugram art community. By bringing well known artists and senior art practitioners together, the exhibition showcases the evolution of South Asian art history from past to present. Art curator Kishore Singh will be addressing guests with a keynote address with insights on art appreciation, and the evening will include an interactive painting experience by artist Seema Kohli.

Founder and Director Sania G. Vohra says, “Resonance: The Foundation Edition is a significant milestone for Antarang Art Gallery. It reflects a vision we have been building since the gallery’s inception—to create meaningful encounters with art that go beyond viewing and encourage dialogue, curiosity and community. Bringing together works by some of India’s most celebrated modern and contemporary artists, alongside an interactive experience with Seema Kohli, the exhibition celebrates both artistic excellence and shared participation. We hope it encourages audiences from Gurugram and beyond to engage with art in a way that feels welcoming, memorable and enriching. This is only the beginning of what we envision as an evolving annual platform.
